Privacy
Consent blocks, "Your data" requests and erasure.
Consent blocks
Add the Consent field to a form. It is a tick with your wording. Write what people agree to, in plain words.
You can make it required, so the form cannot be sent without the tick.
SharpForm does not tell you what your wording must say. Check that with your own adviser.
Your data requests
People get a Your data link in their confirmation email. They use it to ask to see or erase their answers.
Go to Settings, then Privacy. The Data requests panel lists these requests, each with a 30 day clock. Only organisation admins handle them.
Find a person's data
Search by email or phone.
Log a request
If someone asks you directly, log a request. Add an email, a phone number or both, and notes.
Export
You can export every answer a person gave in this organisation, including answers in Trash.
Erasure
Choose Erase on a request. The dialog explains that it permanently removes the person's details from their answers, and it cannot be undone.
- It covers everything they gave in that organisation.
- Their other responses with the same contact are erased too.
- They are removed from recipient lists, and their links stop working.
You type a confirmation before it goes ahead.
Deleting an organisation
Settings, then Privacy also has an option to delete the whole organisation. Read the warning first.
- Open Settings, then Privacy.
- Find the delete panel.
- Follow the steps.
