Sharing
Links, QR codes, WhatsApp and embedding on your website.
Public link, short link and QR code
Open the Share tab of a published form. The first panel is Link to your form.
- Copy link copies the full address.
- Copy short link copies a shorter one. It is easier to read out or print.
- The QR code panel lets you download a PNG (1024 pixels wide) or an SVG. Use the SVG for large print.
- Print poster makes a poster with the QR code and the look of your form.
If the form is not published, the Share tab tells you, and the buttons stay off.
Tracked links
Make a tracked link for each place you share the form, such as an email or a poster. Then you can see how many answers each one brings in.
Hidden fields and campaign tags
These let you pre-fill answers or tag where people came from. Only the details you list are saved. Anything else in the link is ignored.
The Share tab has a WhatsApp button for chats and groups. It opens WhatsApp with your link in the message.
WhatsApp and Facebook show a preview card of your link. The card uses your form's title and picture.
On a phone, the short link is the better one to paste.
Embedding: the inline snippet, the plain iframe and allowed domains
Embed shows your form inside your own website.
Allowed websites
Under Which websites will show this form? add the address of each website, then save. Only the websites you list can show the form. Anyone else sees a blank box. You can list up to 10.
Inline snippet
Choose Copy snippet and paste it where the form should appear.
Plain iframe
Use this if your website builder blocks scripts. The height is fixed, so set it to fit your form.
You can turn on Transparent background. The form then takes on your page's colour. It works best on one colour.
WordPress, Wix, Webflow and Squarespace
First add your website under Which websites will show this form? in Embed.
WordPress
- Edit the page.
- Add a Custom HTML block.
- Paste the snippet. If it does not show, use the plain iframe instead.
Wix
- Add an Embed code element, then choose Embed HTML.
- Paste the plain iframe.
- Resize the element to fit the form.
Webflow
- Add an Embed element.
- Paste the snippet, or the plain iframe.
- Publish your site.
Squarespace
- Add a Code block.
- Paste the snippet, or the plain iframe.
- Save.
Menu names can change in these tools. If you cannot find the block, search their help for "embed code".
